A shout-out
My friend Lolly lives up in Washington state with her husband Palmer. They're struggling newlyweds, so they were unable to sponsor me, but I got the sweetest card in the mail yesterday, with a $25 Starbucks card.
The card says "We may not be able to sponsor, but we can pray for you and help keep you awake!"
Palmer works at Starbucks, so that's probably how they could send a gift card but have no sponsorship cash.
Couldn't have come at a better time. Got me my triple venti latte, a scone, and a new double wall cup. My last one started leaking last week.
